About us

Michelle Johnson started AOV Productions in 1994, with the aim to film all animals on video and produce keepsake movies for owners to cherish. Horses were the main focus of the business and soon Michelle was filming Horses for Sale and filming at most major events around Western Australia.

She produced the first ever Show Horse Council video of the Top Ten Finalists back in 1994 and still films this event each year along with the Equestrian Federation of WA's Horse of the Year Show.

With a love for horses and being involved and owning horses since the age of 13, Michelle produces work that moves the viewer and makes them feel a part of the horse and rider, whether it is for a sale or a keepsake memory.

"I started AOV Productions when I separated from my first husband as a way of producing an income to help raise my first child Mitchell as a sole parent. It has grown since then and is even known over on the East Coast after I produced the National Show Horse and Rider Championships dvd in 2006 and 2008, 2009 and still continue to do so.

I remarried in 2000 and live in Bakers Hill on a 3.5 acre property approximately 75km east of Perth, WA. I have three children, my son Mitchell who is a talented golfer (not so interested in horses) and a daughter Georgia who has her mother's passion for these wonderful animals, and my step daughter Bridget who is showing a lot of talent with her art and photography. My husband is a long distance truck driver and his horse is a Harley Davidson... "
